In addition, we are now employing Rackspace, the leading industry hosting service, to provide an even greater level of security for you.

We have built a defence around your confidential information using Cisco-brand firewalls, intrusion detection systems and constantly maintained network systems. You can be sure that your information will be kept safe wherever and whenever you access it.

With your monthly subscription, you will receive the following security services:

• Dedicated Firewall: Our dedicated firewall provides greater security compared to general software firewalls. This firewall will block public access to your files and allow only your chosen filtered clients access to its contents. You can grant and set access permissions and rest assured we will take care of the rest – bouncing any unwanted guests from gaining access to your information. Your information is encrypted in addition to the filtering system to add an even higher level of security.
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS): There’s no doubt that you and your files are attractive to criminals everywhere, however, with our intrusion detection systems we can stop criminal attempts before they have the chance to stop you. These attacks come in the form of network traffic – something you both need and want as a company, but it can be an enemy in disguise. We take out the guesswork by censoring and blocking offensive and suspect traffic that attempts to access your data, all while we filter and allow legitimate traffic to access your information. Each piece of offensive traffic is tagged, filtered and re-routed away from your company’s files.
• Secure Socket Layer (SSL): Easy Bill employs the Thawte SSL 123 Certificate that offers a 128-bit encryption of your files. An SSL is a protocol that transmits private documents, such as credit card numbers, over the internet using a public encryption key in addition to a private one dedicated to the recipient. Our SSL ensures that wherever you happen to set up shop, your data transactions will be secure. The Thawte SSL will check that any user attempting to access your data has a properly registered domain and that the certificate purchase is authorized.
• Managed Data Back-ups: Can’t find something today that you know you had yesterday? It’s inevitable that your personal hardware and software will eventually fail you. Whether the missing data occurred naturally from forces of nature, or whether it occurred from man-made malicious acts, your company can rest assured work will continue with Easy Bill’s managed data back-up system. We understand that your company’s data is often irreplaceable and is the backbone of your organization, and we will recover your destroyed and missing files – day or night.
• Denial of Service: At Easy Bill, we use the Preventier DDoS prevention program. This service employs a three-tiered security system: network-level traffic monitoring, server-level anomaly detection, and traffic filtering and re-routing. This program denies any unwanted or unsolicited access to your information. Any malicious or abnormal behavior will be flagged and re-routed before it has a chance to steal or destroy your files. Your clients and employees will be able to quickly and securely access your company’s files while this silent service quickly blocks any intruders.
• Security Audits: We regularly provide internal and external audits to our security systems to proactively protect you and your files. We aggressively update and employ the latest security practices as dictated by the high-level security audit company, Zend Consulting Services. Malicious and exploitable code, dirty data analysis and penetration testing are just a few of the auditing services provided on a continual basis to ensure your data is secure.
• Security Network Facility: Easy Bill provides each of our users access to a 24/7 data center and its onsite technicians. We employ biometric scanning and security camera monitoring to control access to our data centre location. The physical security of our data centre is externally and internally audited to help provide better for our clients.
